Fort Stories
True stories. Brave Voices. Strong Communities.
One unforgettable night in Fort Collins.
Theme: RIVER
Welcome to Fort Stories—a live storytelling event based right here in Fort Collins, where community, courage, and connection come together for an unexpected evening. This isn’t a performance. It’s a gathering. A night to share and hear true, personal stories told live by everyday people—maybe even you.
Each event features a new theme, and this time, we’re flowing with RIVER.
A river you swam in.
A river you crossed.
A river of change, grief, adventure, or love.
Cry me a river.
Whatever “river” means to you—we want to hear it.
Thinking about telling a story?
You don’t need to be a performer—just be real.
We welcome first-time storytellers. Storytelling audiences are known for their generosity and enthusiasm.
Stories must be:

✔️ No More than 7 Minutes
Come share or listen or both!
What to expect

✔️ Brave, real-life stories that make you feel
✔️ A friendly, welcoming crowd
